The Design Residency

You cannot design a feeling from a listing. Photographs show a room at noon, from the doorway, with the lights on. They do not show what the light does at five o'clock, how the floor sounds at night, how long the walk to the coffee feels in socks, where a guest will set the bag down because there is nowhere else.

So we come and stay. Svetlana, Jon and Dr. Robert spend three midweek days in your property as guests: the arrival, the light through the day, the sounds at night, the first morning. Then we design from what the place actually is.

What you receive

• A full sensory plan for the property, drawn from three days inside it
• Two to three designed signature spaces
• Two to four curated guest offers
• A closing session to walk through all of it, and everything filed in your workspace

Who it is for

The host near Philadelphia who wants the studio's eyes and hands on the actual property, short of a full transformation: a plan drawn from the place, not its pictures.

How it runs

1. Apply in the workspace with your listing link, a few questions and the dates that could work for the stay.
2. A first call, to see whether it is a good fit. Payment only if it is.
3. Three midweek days on site.
4. The design, then a closing session to deliver it.
